Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
DewCall is operated by Massive Impact Media Pvt. Ltd. ("DewCall," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you or your family use DewCall, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We built DewCall to bring peace of mind to families, and we take that responsibility seriously — especially because the information involved is personal, and often about someone who isn't able to manage their own privacy settings. We've written this policy in plain language on purpose.
1. Who this applies to
DewCall involves two kinds of people:
- The family member (the buyer) — the adult child who signs up, pays for the service, and manages the account.
- The senior (the parent) — the person who receives the daily phone call. The senior does not create an account or log in; their information is provided and managed by the family member who set up the service.
2. What we collect
From the family member:
- Name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number (if provided)
- Timezone and preferred brief delivery channel (SMS, WhatsApp, or email)
- Billing information, processed securely through our payment provider, Razorpay (we do not store your card details ourselves)
About the senior, as entered by the family member:
- Name, preferred name, age, and phone number
- Optional context to help our companion have better conversations: hobbies, personality notes, cultural background, living situation, and general health context
- Call preferences: time of day, frequency, and companion name
From each daily phone call:
- A text transcript of the conversation. We do not record or store audio — only the transcribed text.
- A short "memory" summary (2–3 sentences) used to give the next call continuity
- A mood indicator and general topics discussed, used to generate the family brief
- If something concerning comes up in conversation — for example, a mention of a fall, confusion, or a suspicious phone call — we note it as a "flag" so it can be shared with family promptly
3. How we use this information
- To make the daily call and have a natural, warm conversation
- To generate the daily brief sent to family members
- To remember context from past calls, so conversations feel continuous rather than repetitive
- To detect and promptly share anything that may need a family member's attention
- To process billing and manage your subscription
- To improve the quality and reliability of our service
We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use call content for advertising.
4. Who can see what
- Family members linked to a senior can see that senior's briefs, mood history, and flags through the dashboard
- Multiple family members (e.g., siblings) can be linked to receive the same updates, if added by the primary account holder
- DewCall staff may access transcripts or account data only when necessary to operate, troubleshoot, or improve the service, or to respond to a safety concern
- We do not share senior or family data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties
5. Third-party services we rely on
To provide DewCall, we work with a small number of trusted service providers, each handling a specific part of the service:
- Twilio — to place and connect phone calls
- Deepgram — to transcribe speech to text in real time during calls
- ElevenLabs — to generate the natural-sounding voice of our companion
- Anthropic (Claude) — to power the conversation and generate the daily brief from the transcript
- Supabase — to securely store account and call data
- Resend — to deliver email briefs
- Razorpay — to process subscription payments securely
Each of these providers only receives the information necessary to perform their specific function, and is bound by their own data protection obligations.
6. Data retention
- Call transcripts and briefs are retained for as long as your subscription is active, so that mood trends and memory continuity remain useful
- We keep a rolling memory of the 10 most recent calls per senior; older memory entries are archived rather than actively used
- If you cancel your subscription, you may request full deletion of your account and associated data at any time
7. Security
- All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (HTTPS)
- Access to our database is restricted and protected by row-level security, meaning a family member can only ever see data for their own linked senior(s)
- We do not store payment card details — all billing is handled directly by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant
8. Your choices
- You can update or correct your parent's profile information at any time from the dashboard
- You can change call frequency, timing, or delivery channel at any time
- You can request a full export or deletion of your data by contacting us
- You can cancel your subscription at any time; the senior will simply stop receiving calls
9. A note on sensitive information
Because DewCall's conversations may occasionally touch on health, emotional wellbeing, or safety topics, we treat this information with particular care. DewCall is not a medical device or emergency service. We do not diagnose, monitor vital signs, or provide medical advice. If a call suggests an urgent safety concern, we encourage the family to follow up directly or contact emergency services — DewCall is a companion and communication service, not a substitute for medical or emergency care.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify active family members by email before the changes take effect.
